This July 1st and 2nd Harrison County Summerfest is the place to be and the Holiday Inn Express Corydon IN. is the place to stay!
On Friday, enjoy arts and crafts booths, entertainment, a silent auction, the beer garden, a karaoke contest, and a power pull. The Karaoke Contest will be at 7:00p.m. and the winner will receive $500 cash, a trophy, and bragging rights! The Lucas Oil Propulling Old Capital Power Pull will be at 7:00p.m. both Friday and Saturday as contestants battle it out with their trucks and tractors.
On Saturday there will be more arts and crafts booths, a petting zoo, a 5K, races, entertainment and more! The 5K Run/Walk Pint & Slice Fun Run will be held at 8:30a.m. The race will have a prize for the Most Patriotic Outfit as well as cash prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places. All runners receive coupons for free pizza and a drink. The USMLRA Mow ‘Em Down Contest will send grass and sod flying! The Zero Turn Drag Race will be another great event to watch! Weekend entertainers include Tim Dugger, Big Phatty Band, and Josh and Holly.
